Low Fat Sausages

These low fat, healthy sausages are ready in just minutes. They make a terrific meal served with a side salad or serve of vegetables. Depending on how you shape them you could create a sausage or a mince patty.


  • 500g turkey or chicken mince
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup packet breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh chives


  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, season with salt and pepper and shape into sausages.
  • Cook in oil spray or one teaspoon of oil over medium heat, for 10 minutes, turning to cook evenly.

Serves 4
